For many years the Marietta Council of Garden Clubs has sponsored two flower shows at the North Georgia State Fair. This year the 1st show is Sept. 21-26 and the 2nd show is Sept. 26–Oct. 1 at Jim Miller Park. The success of these great shows has been made possible by our many, dedicated volunteers.
The planning committee includes Holly Walquist, Pril Buege, Phyllis Goff, Marilynn Parker, Karen Miller, Carra Harris, Gail Brancheau, Connie Novak, Karin Guzy, Janette Clarkson, Linda Pou, Shirley Dobbins, Jack Driskell and Wilda Camp. The expertise of this committee enables us to draw competitors and nationally accredited judges from throughout the metro area.
