The 4th Annual Cannon Ball Classic was a delightful summer day of golf and fellowship, all while supporting the Marietta Educational Garden Center, Inc. The day started with a Martin’s biscuit breakfast at check-in and the opportunity to buy raffle tickets and mulligans. The shot-gun start got everyone out on the course at 9:00am with some phenomenal play over 18 holes.

The men’s winning teams came in at a tie, and some digging into details revealed the 1st Place team of Will Crowe, Paul Bloodworth, Tate Foster & Mitchell Lancaster
Nine of twenty foursomes were registered by women–what a great turnout! Women’s first place winners were Marcy Griffin, Susie Harton, Kelly Barton and Jill Mutimer.
The Cannon Ball Classic is the largest fundraiser of the year for the Garden Center. Thanks to the support of players, sponsors and donations, more than $16,000 was raised towards the maintaining the Fair Oaks (c. 1850) and its grounds.
