Glory in the Garden is Farm to Table!
It is not too late to secure your table for this year’s Glory in the Garden – Farm to Table. This event sells out every year so don’t delay in getting your table reserved. Tables are $360 and seat eight people. Gather your friends for this fun and fresh evening featuring the band Simply Southern! They will be showcasing a great play list of classic and contemporary country music. They know how to do it right and will be sure to get everyone up on their feet to dance! HANGING OF THE GREENS
The Annual Hanging of the Greens at the Garden Center will take place on Wednesday, 11/29 at 9 am. Volunteers needed! If you’d like to help with this simple, quick and fun task, please contact Carra Harris at [email protected]
The Merry Mingle brunch will take place immediately following the Hanging of the Greens. See below for deadlines and details on purchasing a ticket to the Merry Mingle.
MERRY MINGLE BRUNCH
Please join us for our annual “Merry Mingle” hosted by the Marietta Daisies Garden Club. This social event is open to all garden clubs, and we encourage everyone to attend! After we “deck the halls” of the Garden Center with boughs of holly and good cheer…we’ll celebrate with good food and great fellowship!
This year’s event will take place at the Garden Center on Wednesday, November 29th at 10 am. Tickets are $25 and include brunch. The final day to RSVP and pay for your ticket is Monday, November 13th. There will be no tickets available at the door.

The 2nd Flower Show Awards are in and we have some very exciting news!
There were many ‘firsts’ and many creative wins by our Garden Club members this year. However, of particular note are the accomplishments of two of our members.
Joan Archer, of the Sope Creek Garden Club, earned a blue ribbon in Class 5: The Midway, which led to her win in the Designer’s Choice category, and culminated in her winning the overall top design of the flower show, the Award of Design Excellence. This is an impressive accomplishment, but is even more impressive since Joan is a first-time entrant to the Flower Show! (She also attended the Council’s Flower Show 101 class at the Garden Center last August, so we can all say, “we knew her when…”.)

Learn to Arrange Flowers, Foliage and Fruits for Your Home
Great news! You have the chance to take five classes of flower arranging at the Marietta Educational Garden Center beginning in January.
Creative Study Club of Marietta will offer the course with five different teachers, who have over 80 years of combined experience in floral design and flower show judging.
