Q: What is the Dress Code?

This outdoor event is traditionally dressy casual, but COMFORTABLE.  Some men will be in a jacket, some in shorts and a button down shirt.  Many women will be in a dress, nice sundress, or pants and a pretty top.   The important thing is that you come to have fun, socialize and, maybe even dance!

Q: What about food and drinks for my guests?

You have two options.

  1. Bring your own special picnic dinner and beverages for your guests. Many people love to bring their own version of the perfect al fresco meal.  You are welcome to do this and consider the theme if you are participating in the Table Decorating Contest!

  1. If you prefer to have a catered meal delivered directly to your table, we offer a pre-ordered Gourmet Picnic Dinner. Click here  for this year’s Gourmet Picnic Dinner menu option.

The deadline for food orders and payment is Monday, April 24.

Q: Can I purchase a table and release it back to the Garden Center?

Yes!  If you would like to purchase a table, but know you will not attend, simply let us know that you are releasing your table in writing (email is fine).  We will miss spending the evening with you but understand how busy the springtime season is and appreciate your financial support of the Marietta Educational Garden Center.
